ONE SCHOOL ANC High School
BA Pre-School
The purpose of the Preschool is to support a young child’s:
•Delight in moments of discovery
•Joy in interaction with others
•Love for the Lord
We are committed to serving the whole child in their
spiritual, physical, social and cognitive development, and to fostering strong
relationships among our families, church, school and community. The Bryn Athyn
Church Preschool provides an excellent environment and education for your child
to grow and learn. Our goal is to nurture a zest for living that is a natural
part of early childhood and to provide an atmosphere which allows them to learn
about themselves, each other, the world and a loving God.
We serve children 3-5 years old. Our classrooms are grounded in a love and
respect for each child with the goal of providing a firm foundation in
preparation for elementary school. We
pay close attention to developmental milestones so that we can provide a play
environment that is rich with learning.
We know that children are born learners and that although individual
differences are present from the beginning, all children set out to explore
their world with unbridles eagerness and curiosity. Perhaps more that any other time of life,
early childhood is a period of never ending possibilities. Here are some
developmentally appropriate practices that we use and parents can use at home!

BACS Religion Overview
The purpose of the Bryn Athyn Church School religion program is to help students learn, live and love the teachings of the Lord God Jesus Christ as revealed in the Old and New Testaments and the Heavenly Doctrines. Five broad goals serve as an overarching vision for fulfilling this purpose:
- Helping students develop an ongoing and developmentally appropriate affection and understanding of who the Lord Jesus Christ is in their own lives
- Nurturing an affection for, a knowledge of, and a belief in the Lord’s Word and an ability to read it with understanding and delight.
- Helping students learn how to live a life of charity and morality and give them opportunities to practice it.
- Fostering in students an understanding and delight in the forms and uses of worship and prayer.
- Helping students develop a sense of their place and use in the stream of Providence and a confidence that the Lord is continually leading them and providing for their needs.
The primary students are taught religion by their classroom teacher, in a worship setting. The students in grades four through eight have Monday worship in their classrooms given by their homeroom teacher. These students then gather together for worship on Tuesdays through Thursdays, where a particular part of the Word is taught. The school theme is emphasized one week a month. The whole school worships together on Fridays.

ONE SCHOOL
About the Academy of the New Church
The Academy of the New Church is a mission-driven,
accredited, private Girls School and Boys School providing 9th–12th grade
education. Our self-motivated students are interested in an academic approach
that combines rigorous course work with a uniquely Christian education inspired
by the New Church and its fundamental values.
ANC is two schools in one. We have two independent schools—ANC
Girls School and ANC Boys School—working collaboratively under the umbrella of
a shared purpose. This unique collaboration allows us to provide our students
with all the advantages of an all-girls or all-boys classroom environment,
while also benefiting from cooperation and camaraderie between genders.
All students at ANC, whether they attend the Girls School or
the Boys School, receive a morally grounded, academically rigorous education.
We give our students a strong academic foundation—ANC
graduates leave ANC prepared for college and for life. And in addition to being
well-rounded in the sciences, the arts, the languages, and mathematics, our
students are given confidence and moral clarity that will keep them learning
long beyond their years at ANC.
Our students are leaders, thinkers, and hard workers. They
go on to study at some of the best colleges and universities in the nation, and
are known for their thoughtfulness, their diligence, and their bright attitudes
in all they do.
